• As long as the computer is recent (ie Windows Vista or newer) you should have no problem using it.

• Yes! I am using it with a toshiba laptop. I believe it works with any laptop or desktop. I have used with ASUS, and HP as well.

• To my knowledge it's compatable with any hardware operating windows that has a USB.

• brainwave, look in your device manager and see if you have Other Devices listed in there when you have the BT plugged in. If you do, then you have additional proof that this device is NOT working as it is designed under Windows 8, which it doesn't.

• if you are unfortunate enough to own something besides an apple computer. this will not work unless you have an apple on your computer
