“I bought this for my older laptop so I could connect to a bluetooth speaker. I thought all I would have to do is plug it in and presto, instant blue tooth compatibility. Not so!! The hardware installation says to install the software for the new device, however, there is no software and the trouble shooter could not find it on line. How do I get it to work?”

had to download the drivers from the website that are provided in the instruction sheet in the packaging. Works great. I used it for my pc and bluetooth speakers as well.

You download the software either by the link on the directions or it automatically gives you the software u need to install when u insert the receiver into one of the ports.

Click on "pair" and put your device in "pair" and it should find your device. Once you've paired it. It will connect with your device easily from there.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it is likely that the issue is with the Bluetooth Speaker and not the Bluetooth USB adapter. I would go to the speaker manufacture's website and see if they have a driver for the device. Hope this is helpful.
