“Q: I tried to install an Insignia NS-PCY5BMA2 Blue Tooth Adapter onto my laptop and was unable to pair with my keyboard, mouse and printer/scanner. Tech Support says I have the wrong model for Windows 10. What would be a correct adapter for exchange?”

Make sure that your pc does not already have blue tooth installed. Mine did but was broken. I could not get any adapter to work until I realized that I needed to completely disable the onboard blue tooth. Once I did that, I was able to get this adapter to work with my devices.

Plug the dongle into USB port of laptop. 2. Find Settings-> Bluetooth & Other devices-> other devices ->BCM20702A0. Check if the driver is installed or driver error. 3. If driver error, please use Window update->Check for updates to upgrade driver (Keep the adapter plugged). 4. If driver is installed , you can pair with your BT devices. 5. If driver is not installed, please check your network if there is firewall or any limit on your locate network.
