• No, this adapter will not convert your old receiver. Try to use a Bluetooth receiver like the model RF-BTR319

• This requires a usb port, which I imagine your receiver doesn't have. There are other products that connect to a mic jack or a/v jack that will allow you to do what you're looking for, but this dongle will not.
