• Insignia CD boom box. Screen shows AU and does nothing else. No explanation in the manual.

• The "source" button was pressed inadvertently. Press it again to get to the source you need. AU = auxiliary

• AU means auxiliary mode, which is when you plug another device to this one so that they communicate.
