“Is there an automatic replay function allowing the cd to replay over and over. Does the player have a function which allows a cd to replay over and over on it's own without having to be manually reset ?”

Yes. If you click on the repeat button on the front of the player. One push plays that one song repeatedly, and displays a 1 symbol. Two pushes plays the entire CD repeatedly, and shows a circle with an arrow symbol.
