• First button on top left turns display light on and off. Then the AM/FM button ,then Random button changes the order of the songs played on a CD, Repeat plays the same song on a CD over again, and lastly on the top right the Stop button which stops the CD from playing. Bottom left is advance one song on CD, then back up one song on CD, fast forward in a song, go backward in a song, and lastly play and pause a song.

• Buttons on front are basic. The top line of buttons does have the function printed above them. The bottom row is just the fast forward, pause, stop etc. functions. Hope this helped.

• Ours came with a manual. And all it took was a little bit of clicking on buttons to figure out the functions. It was an easy plug and play system.

• The front of the Boombox will note AM or FM or selections of music on the CD's. This will get you started.
