- Answer No. The CD function only supports CDDA formats (Audio CD), so it will only play CDs that you buy or CDs that you burn from, say, iTunes. The USB port is there to allow you to charge or power devices (e.g. iPhone). There is no capability to play MP3s from a memory stick inserted into the USB port.
