“Can you use your own personal CD’s with the Insignia NS-KP04 Can you put in a Music CD you bought at the store, and if so does it take out the Original Singers Voice so you can just here your Own Voice, which would thereby enable you to mix Your Voice with the Music on a CD you bought at the store or CD of your choice? Also, if you want to crank up the Slap Back or Echo, is it sufficient? Thank you for your time”

Yes, they'll play, but you wont' see the words on the screen. Only CD+G discs will show the words.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There's no simple answer. It should work on most CD's, but it will be dependent on how the CD is encoded. Be aware that there will be no lyrics displayed on those CD's though. There is an Echo feature that should be sufficient for your needs in this device.
