You just plag the usb side to your console and the other side to your conttoller. Console has to be on to charge your battery pack. It turnes your wireless into a wired controller so can play with low or no battery.

This item is great. You can hook it up to your controller and use it to play the game even if you don't have batteries or a battery pack inserted into the controller. If you have a battery pack loaded into the controller it will charge your battery while you are playing. It's really great.

You plug one end into the USB port on the front of your Xbox and the other end plugs into your remote. It charges the remote and let's you play even if the battery is dead.

plug into usb on xbox360 and plug charger into the controller and play and charge at the same time. Battery will be charged during play also

You connect the USB end to any USB port on your Xbox and the other end to the top of the controller and it will charge the included battery.

This charger works great.... no need for batteries.
