This does support charging the elite strap, per the instructions that come with the Insignia base station. It's disappointing when product support doesn't bother looking prior to giving an answer.

As for the elite strap, I was told when purchasing that if I ever got the elite strap, it would charge it as well. It'll just take longer of course. :)

It includes two high-power rechargeable battery packs, an AC adapter, and a USB-C quick connector. Regarding your specific questions: 1. Charging an Elite Strap or External Battery: The charge station is primarily designed for the headset and controllers. It may not support charging an elite strap or other external batteries directly. You might need to check if the elite strap or external battery has a compatible charging method with the station. 2. Long-term Safety: The charge station has built-in overcharging and short-circuit protection, which helps ensure the safety of your devices during long-term charging. However, it's always a good practice to occasionally check the battery health and avoid leaving devices on charge for excessively long periods. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.
