Q: QuestionDoes battery pro controllers work on this because I do not want to buy batteries just for my controller?
Asked by Tristan.
- A:Answer Official Nintendo Pro Controllers do not have separate batteries, the rechargeable battery is encased in the controller, they come with a cord to connect to the switch to charge. This insignia charger has two usb-c connections that the pro controller's sit on to charge. (Note Controllers with silicone skins do not fit on the charger without pulling skin away from controller, which I suspect will stretch out the skin in time, but am not sure.)

Q: QuestionWill they fit on charger with silicone skins, or do they need to come off?
Asked by ChesterCheetah.
- A:Answer No they do not fit with the skin on...at least mine doesn't. I have two controllers with silicone skins (Red and Blue, like the joycon's). The skin has to be pulled away from the controller to seat into the charger.

Q: QuestionCan this charge only 1 pro controller or do you need to have two docked for it to charge?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer You can absolutely just charge one if you want. That’s what I do right now until my second one comes in. It just has the ability to charge two at once (it has two slots).

Q: QuestionWill the Charging Station Dock also charge the Nintendo Joy-con Charging Grip (and the Joy-cons when attached)? It looks like they would fit, but want to be sure.
Asked by Nate.
- A:Answer Yes It does fit. I have been using it that way. I initially bought it for my Zelda controller but this only fits Nintendo Switch Pro controller and the charging grip and even a type c phone since it’s skinny enough.

Q: QuestionCan this be used to charge Nintendo Wii U Pro controllers as well?
Asked by Sara.
- A:Answer nope. those are a totally different fitting. You can probably get one used for $5 at a gamestop, though. I just use a cord I had for a very old phone and it charges fine.

Q: QuestionIs it safe to leave the pro controllers plugged into this charging dock all the time when they are not in use or could this cause safety problems, damage to the batteries of the controllers, etc?
Asked by R1254.
- A:Answer Hi, RSS. Leaving the controllers connected after fully charged could cause eventual malfunction due to overcharging. Cesar G. - Insignia Support

Q: QuestionWill this also charge the PowerA - Enhanced Wireless Controller?
Asked by SNick.
- A:Answer Possibly. It would need to be a usb c, but it would also need to fit the curvature of the area around the plug on the dock. I have a 8 bit do controller that does not charge, the contour of the controller doesn’t allow it to actually plug in. Legit Pro controllers work perfectly.
