• Yes - think light table luminosity and without very bright LEDs exposed. Each box cycles through white and all its colors with several dimmings. I like it more than my other small LED lanterns.

• Also, when the batteries are low (1 volt) only the white comes on - time for 6 new AAs! They do last a long time like for all LEDs.
