QuestionJust to be sure: I want a simple am fm alarm clock radio that operates with a wire which is plugged into an electric outlet. I am not looking for a battery operated radio. Is this the right one for me?

- Answer Yes. The battery is just to keep the time on the clock in case of power outage. You need to plug it in to an electric outlet to make it work.
