A:AnswerThe manufacturer designed a battery back up. You can open the compartment. Follow the manufacturer instructions. The compartment door is stiff. It may not power up the time but the alarm will supposedly go off at the set time if you have installed 2 good batteries correctly.
A:AnswerThe best way to answer this is to refer to the owners manual. It is actually easy to do as long as you follow the instructions. I unplug the unit and take out the battery, that resets the clock back to 12 midnight. Then you just advance the hours and minutes by pushing the appropriate buttons as per your instructions in tha manual.
