“My apartment charges me for cable running through the units. Its a standard 40 channels and I have coaxial in my apartment. I'm not sure where it comes from or who provides it. Will this work? If not is there a device that will take that coaxial to HDMI?”

Dear customer, this converter will work to convert the signal from the coax to HDMI however, it is important that you keep in mind that this will only convert the existing signal but it will not upgrade the picture quality. Omar S. - Insignia Support.
