If so, you could run a cable from your computer to the tv. Switch the video input on your tv to the port you plugged the computer into and then adjust your computer's settings to your viewing preference (right click on your computer desktop, select display settings, adjust).

Every laptop has a different display port and monitors have different inputs (on the monitor) and outputs (on the laptop) Here is a guide that has the most popular along with some good information. First you need to identify the output on the laptop and the input on the monitor and get a cable with the corresponding ends on it. Sometime you may need to use an adapter, especially if there is a big age difference between your laptop and monitor. https://www.cablestogo.com/learning/connector-guides/digital-video Referring to the manuals which are probably on line if you dont have them. Taking good pictures of the output on the laptop and the input on the monitor is always a good idea to take to the store with you. If you are near a Best Buy or other big box electronics store they should be able to help you if you have good pictures of the ports you need a cable for.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your computer has an HDMI output, all you have to do is run an HDMI from your computer out to the TV HDMI input and that will work fine. If your computer is newer you might also be able to cast it to a new smart tv without the need for a cord using a program such as Allcast. If you don't have either of those options, consider an adapter such as a DVI to HDMI or VGA to HDMI adapter to connect your pc to your TV's HDMI port.
