no, charge is monitored. the LED show status: Red = charging. Green = full.

I leave mine in all the time. For every charger I have purchased for my game controllers I have done this with no issues of overcharging.

No they do not my kids leave the controllers on there all the time when they are not using them

I've left controllers on this charger for a week and have not noticed an overcharge issue.

I haven't had any problems but if possible don't let them get to low and this will shorting your charging time.

Not to my knowledge. I've never had an issue with my charging stand or batteries being overcharged.
