if the skin adds thickness to the mini-usb connector side of the controller, the plug won't engage completely.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don’t have a skin, so not sure, but I will say that you have to be a bit deliberate when you put it on the charger without a skin. So, I would definitely wait for someone to confirm who has a skin, or test it in the store before you buy.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's already a tight fit to try to charge two controllers on here. If the skin is paper thin, then maybe. But, if the skin is made of rubber or plastic and adds thickness to the controller i would say no it wouldn't work.
