• it doesnot get in the way. plug into the wall and start charging 1 or 2 excellent charger My grandsons love them

• anything that attaches to the mini-USB side of the controller would be int he way of the charge port. Its contoured to fit the msft supplied OEM controller. I don't have a SCUF so i don't know about fitment. Its only $25 at best buy, go get it and try it out. If not, return it.
