Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You need to make sure the DVI-A connection end is the right DVI for your computer. There are several differnt configurations. the A variation was not right for my computer! You should get someone to explain the differences. Also when I found someone who was able to send me an article about the differences before I bought another one another tech suport company representative explained that if the monitor was still good (which I had verified by attaching it to another computer with the same cable that had previously connected it to the computer with which it suddenly stopped working) that there was probably something wrong with the video card and that should be replaced before I tried the bandaid of connecting with a DVI to VGA connector. (My original connector was HDMI to HDMI) - the monitor had both caapabilities.
