Yes, no need to take the paddles off. It has an alignment tab for the port on the bottom of the controller and then rests on the charging prongs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the paddles do not interfere with the stand while resting. The point of contact is the controllers center-underneath. It lays back, and locks with the stand via the controllers front port. This isn't the most reliable method as you have the shimmy the controller unit it falls. While doing that maybe the paddles could hit on the side wall if being careless as there's not much clearance. Other then the slight stability issue while docking, the stand looks great and has a good charge.
