Mine gets hot as well. It also won't switch from red to green to show it's fully charged when this happens. I just take it off the charger at that point. It only happens occasionally for me, not all the time.

Please try again later.I don't think that is normal, I have had the charger and controller for over a year and never had it be pretty hot, a little warm maybe but nothing that I can remember. Maybe switch out the rechargeable battery for another and see if that helps. I cycle mine with my other controllers, hope that helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve never had that type of issue with my charging system. I use my system roughly 3hrs a day and haven’t had any overheating or charging issues. I would recommend taking it back to the retail store and having them exchange it if it’s within the store warranty date.
