“Can the wiring be hidden to the plug in?”

• Yeah, depending on how you conceal the wires. You can tuck the cable into your car's trim (by pushing it in either with your fingernails or a 'trim' tool). However, you want to make sure that the cable doesn't obstruct your A-pillar (where your side airbags typically are) in ANY way. Doing so could be catastrophic and either hamper the performance of the airbags, or lead to the pressure from the airbag activation being a perfect catalyst to launch the cable/this dash cam into your face. I have seen that the pillar trim isn't too hard to remove (and thus you can hide the wire around/out of the way of the airbag assembly), but Best Buy can wire it for you. Their TotalTech subscription ($199.99/yr) gives you free labor/installation on a lot of car-related services, like dash cam set-up and installation.
