“Without the charger in it’s off. I put the charger in and it turns on, a red light starts blinking and a blue light turns on. It stays on for 3 minutes then automatically turns off with the charger in and the red blinker and blue light are still on.”

• That is the screensaver setting. Camera is still working when blue and red lights are on. Screensaver settings can be changed. See full instruction manual online.
