• You will need to scroll through the menu and find the format memory module. same thing happened to me, i just kept playing with the menu until I found the format selection. Good luck.

• This camera accepts SD Cards only up to 128GB. Try to format the card from the camera itself not from your computer.

• You must format the memory card on the first use. Make sure you retrieve any data on the card if you have used that card prior, as formatting wipes the card.

• After I power cycled after the installation of the sd card it went away. I would worry that you card might not be properly installed or not compatible.
