• it doesn't snap and click. it simply slide and hang but it is very stable. i had to many bumps and it is still in place. another advantage is that it is easy to remove from the suction cup should you need to take it with you... just slide it out.

• The camera is suppose to slides and click to the mount. I would not recommend letting the camera hanging loosely.
