I would hope that someplace insignia might provide that information in the manual someplace. Just test for yourself. Create a five minute event and then get the file off the camera and check the size on your computer or perhaps there might be something on the camera that will provide the statistics of the video along with the date/time stamp and tell you the size of the file as well.
A:AnswerDid you insert the Micro Sd Card. If card is inserted should record. If not pull the memory card out check in another device and make sure it's not the memory card failing. If card is fine reinsert it and got to menu then scroll down to Format and allow card to format. You can only use a 32GB card. Over that may not be subtle for camera. A:AnswerNot as night vision goes. It does present a picture but it is not assisted by inferred lights that advertised "night" models have. It does not have true night vision. I do like the camera. I am going to get one for my wife.
