“The weight limit is only 60 pounds? Seems kind of light for something able to handle 55” televisions. I’d like to put my 68 pound Sony on this . . . has anyone experienced sagging or problems with sets weighing 65 - 70 pounds with this item? Thanks.”

Kind of late for an answer but we just bought this unit. We have a 65" Sony tv on it that fits perfectly, is stable and so far have no sagging whatsoever.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I got this for my 58" Samsung and so far I have not noticed any creaking or sagging. My stand of the tv is directly in the center so weight is distributed to the center wood piece.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This this is extremely sturdy. After going through the 3 hour build process, I would say 60 lbs is very conservative. While I haven’t tried anything as heavy as what you’re referring to, I would be confident that the stand will handle it.
