Old turntables may be driven by a motor that adjust the speed by the frequency. Germany has 50 Hertz and the US has 60 Hertz. If your turntable has a motor like the converting the power won't be sufficient, you would also need to convert the frequency. However, I would give it a try and you will find out whether it works. regards H
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You probably need a voltage converter not just a plug converter. Modern power supplies handle the voltage range from 110 to 240 and 50 and 60 Hz. But a turntable from 1976 likely does not. But they do sell voltage converters just make sure it has the right wattage rating for the turntable.
