• No! This is purely to change the shape of the plug, it does not step up or down the voltage. For that you need a transformer. Whatever you plug in to this needs to be compatable with 110v

• This is just an adapter. You will have to make sure your iron has a 110 switch- most do somewhere on the handle. If it doesn’t you will have to vet a power converter.
