A:Answer No this product does not support 1440 at all. It only has support for 1080 and 4 K at a maximum of 60hz. 4K at 60 works nice. Also a good way to get your surround sound to your home theater system. It’s a good fix for old receivers without Bluetooth or e arch HDMI technology. Any reviews saying this supports 1440 lie. Even employees at GameStop since have told me everything they are aware of by other manufacturers only support the same resolutions, they are right. It all depends on the HDMI 2.1 interface. Maybe sometime soon somebody will help us gamers out and just make a box with all HDMI 2.1 connections and an option for a digital optical audio out for even more backwards compatibility for all of the users who are still working with older devices. So now I put it all on you Best Buy, with all of your resources, to get behind your hard working paying customers and develop su a box to do this. Do it first and you will make a lot of money from Xbox and ps5 owners. I know you like the sound of that,Best Buy. You would also be the hero who heard the customers who have been looking for a solution site they spent the money to pay for a Xbox or ps. Can you imagine customer support like that. I can, I worked in customer service for about 20 years. I just don’t know if Best Buy really cares about their customers that much. I’m not talking about the hard working staff. I’m talking about the big bosses at the top. So , good luck. Hope this helps.
