In your video card's settings, there should be a place for you to play around with the resolution settings. Depending on your video card, you will have options that many people do or don't have because people have different video cards. Search through them and see what you find. As well, the option to extend displays is also dependent on your video card and it's features. You may not have the option, or you possibly just haven't found it. To access a video cards settings is pretty simple. Right click on your desktop, and in the menu that appears, click display settings. There you will find many options, including the one that says duplicate screen. In that box, click it to see if the dropdown box shows any other options. If it does not, you can't extend the screen and your video card doesn't support it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is only an adapter to adapt a signal from HDMI to VGA. If you are not able to do certain things, it would be a limitation of the computer graphics card or the monitor. If your computer only has one output, the computer will only be able to output one signal to both TVs. Make sure you are setting the resolution and refresh rate so that it is compatible with both monitors.

Once you connect your Insinga adopter to your PC be sure its secure and plugged into your Lap top. Go to your control panel and view screen settings. You should have the option of setting up with multiple screen viewing. Be sure to do this only after you secured your adopter and its plugged into both your Lap top and screen. Good Luck!
