• Yes. Used same style unit on VCR worked fine. This unit I put on TV directly also worked. Big thing to me - the bow tie does not swivel and there is no "phase" adjustment. May not make any difference - it's a very inexpensive unit that worked on a brand new TV I got as present for relative.
