• There's a 4' (or so) integral cable with a coax connection. So, if you have a TV with a coax connection, and you have a place to put this within 4', you're in good shape.

• if you need to position the antenna far away from the TV ( like to a window for better reception) you'll need an extension coax with one side as a female to accept the male

• the coax cable that comes with it is more than enough for most installations but if you want to extend it you need a coax that accepts the male on one side
