- Answer I don't know. Mine is KX-TG9582 and it works fine. I like it that the product lines keep the connection configurations compatible. Unlike some products that keep changing, that you have to keep buying new charging cords.

- Answer Turn your CP-8851 over and look at the ports underneath. If you see a "square" headset port, you'll need to get the RJ-9 version of this headset (SKU:5796300).

- Answer Mine came with the 2.5mm. I like this headset with the exception of this terribly TOO LONG of a cord. I had to roll most of it up to keep it out of the way.

- Answer I somehow missed that this is for Landline phones. This is NOT for cell phones, which I read on the box when it arrived but missed in the item description. It does not fit cell phones, the jack is different size than for any earbuds etc normally used with cell. I ordered an adapter to go from the 2.5mm or 3.5mm whatever it is, to be able to use it for Galaxy 8. I feel that people still make comments about the quality of my calls after a few weeks, so I just ordered a bluetooth headset instead.

- Answer Doubtful as it has a think plug versus a regular size headphone plug. You would probably need an adapter.

- Answer No, the plug is different from the headphones or mic jack. It is meant to be plugged into a phone. I made the same mistake and got a usb headset instead.

- Answer ThNot certain what PTT is, but chances are your laptop is 3.5mm which i thought EVERYthing was. this headset is 2.5mm and says on box landline phone only. I would not advise this for your laptop.
