Hello Arctic! Thank you for your question about the Insignia M.2 NVMe to USB‑C SSD Enclosure; this enclosure supports NVMe and PCIe drives up to 2 TB in sizes 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280, so it does not support the WD‑Black SN850X 8TB double‑sided SSD. Darshan | Insignia
