• It's very manageable. I can hold it with my hands. Tech specs: 31.78°C (89.2°F) on the read and 32.17°C (89.9°F) on the write of a 3GB file. It's idle around 31.11°C (88°F) at 70°F.

• Depends on where you place it and how you place it. I taped mine to a used up 2 inch cardboard tape roll for better air circulation.
