It worked with mine but only with the usb-c to usb-a adapter for some unknown reason

I have only been buying 1TB and 2TB nvme drives because the cost of the low end ones has fallen so much, but your m.2 looks like it would fit fine. The max speed the enclosure can handle is around 800-900 MB/sec. But getting a 2TB nvme for $80 will be a better long term investment for you in this enclosure.
