“Bought this and worked fine to connect my dell monitor to my Dell Latitude 3750(I think) but just got Latitude 5401 and it doesn’t fit ... can’t plug into laptop nor docking station. I am obviously not tech savvy - is there another adapter?”

Yes their is, it looks just like the one you have but the end that goes in to your computer !!! is thinner. ! I hope this help.
