“I'm having trouble connecting to a Thinkpad. It seems to connect OK but if the screen locks the second display does not display on login. If I reconnect the VGA it displays but not if I reconnect the MiniDisplayPort.”

This is typical on any dual screen display. The main screen will be the only screen displayed on log-in after being away from the computer for a significant amount of time without powering down. The secondary screen will be visible after log-in.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The best way to identify if the adapter is the issue is to buy another brand from Best Buy and see if the issue replicates. If it does, you have thinkpad issues. If it doesn't, return the incompatible Adapter.
