Where does the antenna need to be placed? null

As high and close to outer walls as possible. Building materials and placement affects signal

Very close to a window. Not very strong at attaining signals!

If possible, place your antenna near a window and away from sources of interference.

not sure how old you are gary.. but if you remember the olden days when the rabbit ear antennas were all we had, it is kind of like that.. you can put it on the floor behind the tv stand, but you might not get as good reception or as many channels as if you put it on the table iteslef behind the tv type of thing..

Basically anywhere. Preferably close to or on an outside wall.
