Please try again later.not sure how old you are gary.. but if you remember the olden days when the rabbit ear antennas were all we had, it is kind of like that.. you can put it on the floor behind the tv stand, but you might not get as good reception or as many channels as if you put it on the table iteslef behind the tv type of thing..
