“Just bought this mic. It does not pick up any sound unless I hold the mic directly next to my lips. Is there a setting i need to adjust or did I get a dud? Seems everyone else likes these mics.”

I am getting really low sound recorded directly into the PC. I'm going to try it with my Cannon. We'll see if it improves. :(
