“Would this be a good converter to get my PS4 Pro to play on a Logitech z506 computer surround system? I figure there's two ways. PS4 to Optical to Converter to R/W to Speakers.. Or PS4 to HDMI to TV to Optical to Converter to R/W then Speakers.”

I believe if you went optical out from the PS4 to analog into the computer speakers, it should work just fine. That's basically what I'm doing from my television to my Fluance bookshelves now. Good luck!
