“I have several vintage analogue TV's. Can I use this out of my DirecTV receiver to send a/v signals into the old antenna connections of those tv's? I already have cable to wire adapters on the TV's when I use vcr's to test them. Thanks!”

I do not think so. This unit is for audio range signals. You need to check the frequencies used in the digital TV signal input. If you want to convert anything above 20 Khz this unit will not be adequate.
