“i have a new TV but my cable provider wants to rent me a digital adapter thing so I can watch my tv. what is there available to use that i can buy?”

Ur cable provider must have a cable box for ur tv.. every cable box have HDMI connector forward to TV.. and every cable box does have a analog output, connect from those analog connector toward to ur speaker. That's if u want from ur cable box directly to speaker.. then u can either start up with ur analog connection to ur speaker or get the HDMI converter.. and if u want from TV to speaker.. u have to check out if ur tv have any audio output.. but I believe most tv nowadays doesn't have analog output.. so what u need to do is I'm sure ur tv have optic output.. buy the optic converter to analog and connect them from ur tv to ur speaker is best u can do.
