• Had a similar issue with my 60 inch LG plasma. Only audio out was the optical output and found that the converter only seems to work for sources through the tv that are already digital (through HDMI). Doesn't work with rabbit ears. Be sure to try turned my off the internal tv speakers that may work.

• You have change your audio settings in the TV... I can't remember what they were but call Best Buy and they can tell you...
