i'm trying to hook up a bose theater box to an older phillips flat screen tv. from what I can see it ahs no audio outputs. the tv has 3 av inputs and an hdmi plug. is this what I am looking for to make this bose box to work? thanks for any info null

I got a cable box with an optical port and my Bose is up and running again- no need for an adapter. :)

yes this will work but if it has hdmi port get the one for hdmi it gives a better pic. good luck

I had the same need with a new Samsung TV. This item will do the job. You will need a connector cable to go along with this box.
