“Purchased optical digital-to-analog converter NS-HZ313. Have plugged into older Sony receiver. Only getting one channel of audio. Right side. No left. Checked all connections. Tried different input locations, different cables. No luck. Any suggestions?!?”

• It's a long shot. But, your optical cable may be at fault. Did you try swapping that out?
