It’s worth a try. You can always return it within their timeline for returns. I have an older dvd/surround system (over 10 years old) It doesn’t have an optical input to plug into my new smart tv. The analog converter is my working solution. I’m spoiled on surround sound, tv speaker sound just doesn’t do it for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No this converter is allowing the optical audio to be transmitted out of the sound bar and in your case you would need the optical to transmitted into your sound bar. You would need an Analog to Digital converter.
